Gretna Woodcarvers Retreat 2011

Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, or Perch were the fish projects for the Gretna Retreat this
year. The class did a great job on capturing the realistic colors of these fish. Other carvers attending
participated in classes including butternut faces, walking canes, whimsical houses, flutes, and chip carving. With the convenience of the classes and cafeteria located in the lodge, the cabins close by, and the location overlooking the beautiful Platte Valley just outside of Omaha, Nebraska, it made
a perfect Woodcarvers Getaway.
