Airbrushing was added to this years woodcarving class at Whapeton .This produced some great looking fish,using the technique of blending colors. Next years class will include habitat, and the option of carving smaller fish to group with aquatic life

Wahpeton Carving Weekend 2011

With the Missouri River challenging travel from Minot, ND to Omaha, NE over 150 enthusiastic wood carvers converged on North Dakota State College June 24-26, 2011. Our fish woodcarving class of twelve students carved, woodburned and painted either a roughout of a Bass, Bluegill or Crappie. Some of the advanced carvers either carved more than one fish or painted their fish with more difficult painting techniques
